This Chromebook Spin 713 is different from a 12 year old Chromebook. old windows laptop - lighter, smaller, faster. It's easier to turn on and off, my old car was sooooo slow! I love that it can be used as a tablet, laptop or tent, as well as a backlit keyboard. The charger can be connected from both sides via 2 USB-C ports as well as USB-A, HDMI, headphone jack and micro SD. Now that I'm getting used to the Chromebook system, some things I need or want to do seem easier. I can wirelessly print and listen to audio, exchange information. with my android phone and tablet etc. Of course if you need a computer and need to use windows system really often then this might not be for you. So far very satisfied.
