This block looks like an OEM but does not have the thick coating that the OEM starter has to prevent corrosion. The main reason for my one star rating is that the starter failed after three starts and left me stuck. From the start it seemed like it wouldn't have the same performance as the replaced unit. I thought maybe it was because it was new. No, it's just bad. It spins but the solenoid doesn't fire. Very disappointed. OEM is the way to go, even if it's three times the price.
