This stand fits my Fanatec Clubsport V3 pedals and wheel base perfectly. Don't listen to old reviews saying it's incompatible or that you need to change it. The wheel stand comes with a Fanatec pedal adapter that can be mounted to the stand's floor mount, allowing it to work with any Fanatec, Thrustmaster, etc. It's surprisingly strong and durable, and I really do pedal and wheel when I race. I set the brake force sensor voltage really high, so I really need to bleed the brake and clutch. I'm not being gentle with him at all and he's holding up great. I love how compact it is (although it's a joke to think you'd fold it up and put it aside with all your 40+ pound gear and cables attached) so you don't fold it or the pedals having to unscrew and wheelbase to put it away and then screw it all back together when you want to play. However, it's quite mobile in the sense that I would take it and place it in front of my monitor and then drag it to the corner of my room when I'm not gaming. I keep it in a fixed place now since I use a VR headset so I don't have to do that anymore. I love that I can use my office chair and just move it around to play without a big bulky custom rig, annoying desk clips etc. It really is the perfect solution for what I wanted. So far it's been amazing after about a hundred hours of play. **Two important things to note** 1) If you place this on a hardwood floor or even a thin floor mat and your pedals hard, the unit will creep forward a bit. This happens naturally the harder you pedal. Just like an office chair with locked wheels will still creep back a bit when you pedal. For many people without a hard setup with high-tension pedals, this won't be a problem. So I have rubber gym mats that do their job well, which brings me to my second point. 2) I pressed it against the wall so the device doesn't move when I press the pedals. Nonetheless, I attached a thin piece of double foam to the edge of the pedal's metal bracket, which fits snugly against my wall (see attached video). I highly recommend doing this, otherwise you'll scratch the wall when you press on it. I'm 6ft tall and the pedal position and handlebar position are perfect for my office/gaming chair raised to full height. With Fanatec pedals, I've found that there really is only one acceptable pedal position, and that's right in the middle of the device. I experimented quite a bit to see if I could move them further since I have long legs, but this was the best I could do without modifying the device itself. I extended the bike quite a bit, although it can actually go higher, but my chair just won't go higher, so this works great for me. If I were over 6ft with my Fanatec pedals, I would have to raise the seat higher so I could pull the bike up (and out) more toward me. Something to consider if you are over 6ft tall with Fanatec pedals. In addition, the device was originally delivered with a crooked gear lever mount. It was welded on just like that (although still very strong). I contacted Next Level Riders directly through their website about 30 days after my purchase and they responded within a day and immediately sent me a new shifter and Next Level race mat just to fix it. 1+ for customer service and 1+ for this product for my expensive Fanatec gear. I would buy it again with great pleasure. I don't think there are other decent wheel stands like this that compare, and I don't see the need for a big setup or special chair. To be honest I wouldn't see any use in what it gives me. I secure my chair with shock weights (to keep it from moving an inch) and I smash the castor base against the wall with this piece of styrofoam. So if I step on my heel at the end of a corner or apply the brake or twist the handlebars hard to counter the corner quickly, nothing moves. Obviously the force feedback rumble makes things shake and vibrate, but that only adds to the realism.
