Tested and reliable: Safety

So far we only had 1 shock and the detector told us that. Loud and very simple. We have 2 in the basement and are thinking of adding 2 more for extra measures. I don't know about battery life yet, but as many have said, get a good battery and check/replace twice a year at alternate times.
