One wonders if these devices will become expensive and high quality, and then it turns out that the part of the heat box (which holds the whole unit in the engine compartment) is too high and one cannot close the hood flush (the right one side of your hood (on the passenger side) will be pressed against the top of the heat box screen, I've even tried removing the rubber gasket to make more room to no avail, I've also tried using a rubber mallet to knock it down, tried bending the whole thing, doesn't do anything. metal too high by about 1/2-1". My only thought that might fix this is to take the airbox tray out completely, like the standard airbox and then attach the tray to you is, remove the 2 screws to install the heat box screen portion of this kit, try to remove the entire tray if you remove 2 screws take the other 2 out and en then remove the mounting plate in the original and airbox. This may suffice. Space, I'll have to take it apart again to try it out, but that would be the only way (besides cutting it out) to get the hood flush. Otherwise surprisingly good quality so far. They must have updated the clamps from the previous reviews because now they are all really good.
