I knew these gloves would be flimsy and some of them might not stand up to a random task simply because these gloves can be like that sometimes. HOWEVER they are very thin compared to others I've bought (even other cheap ones). First of all, they're packed so tightly in a box that you can't pull them out of there or they'll tear, the stitching, if you can even call it that, is a joke. We use them for cooking at home, but my husband and I found them almost useless. I expected that for $3-4 I could use at least half of that, then I'd be fine. NOT CORRECT. We used 5 and decided they weren't worth the effort or time to play around with. Walmart, 100 pack - $0.98 - never had a problem and will continue to use them (although I hate WM)
