Big hiker here from Wisconsin. I live by thorogood and just had to try these. The comfort and support this shoe has around your foot is unbelievable. Have only worn them a few times but I am really liking them. They are a tad bulky but by no means are a heavy boot, just don't plan on wearing these casually because they tend to stand out. My only complaint is the ankle support. The shoe has great support around the foot but I wish I would have bought the 8" because my ankles felt a tad naked. If you are looking for a good waterproof hiking boot for a reasonable price, look no further.
