Big hiker here from Wisconsin. I live by thorogood and just had to try these. The comfort and support this shoe has around your foot is unbelievable. Have only worn them a few times but I am really liking them. They are a tad bulky but by no means are a heavy boot, just don't plan on wearing these casually because they tend to stand out. My only complaint is the ankle support. The shoe has great support around the foot but I wish I would have bought the 8" because my ankles felt a tad naked. If

I read a bunch of the reviews on here that said it ran small so I bought a bigger size . That's all false these run my regular size so I'd say order what your normal size is . And even though I've just recently been wearing these they are comfortable as you'd want and look good and seem to hold up so far very empressed with these and will buy again as long as no issues arise

Solid, well-made boot. Not a flimsy hiking boot. Ordered a half size bigger and the wide size. Knew wide would only be a 1E and I wear a 3E. Still more snug than I expected. Stretching some as I wear them, but they’re so rigid it will take a while. A little more insulted than I thought they’d be. Better for cooler weather. Slippery laces come untied. I have to double knot the laces.I’ve been recommending these boots to everyone! I will buy more of these made in the USA quality, durable boots!

These boots are perfect. Soft cushion insole and waterproof. They’re not that heavy as far as work boots go either Might not be suitable for people with wide or narrow feet sizes.

Not the most comfortable, little slippery when ground is wet, not crazy about the top shoe lace hooks. Average Might attract dirt and debris easily, making it more difficult to clean and maintain!

I wore these for four month’s delivering mail, held up pretty good, now I’m onto a different style for winter delivering. Insole I changed (I always do) and it held up solidly, if I could get a wide size I would for winter and thicker socks, pretty light weight , I do walk 10-12 miles a day, the soles are not completely burned out . I buy thorogood because of quality American Made Union Made boots. Was very disappointed when I received these boots to see they were not American made. If I wanted china's low quality , I could have spent alot less. Shame on Thorogood, you made your whole company on the fact your could say union made in America. I user for my work shifts from 12 hrs and my feets keep fresh very good product and the price is good too Might not be the most breathable shoe on the market, causing feet to sweat.

I am an EMT and in boots all day. These boots are light but durable. They keep me from slipping. They are low profile enough to be like a shoe but high enough to cover your high ankles. Excellent product. I did not really have to break them in which is awesome.

Light I'll give them that. But I could not get them to tie in any way that was truly comfortable. If I let them slack the sides would not be any where near your ankle, and if I tightened them to do so they would painfully cut into the top of my ankle. I replaced these with thorogood omni8 USA all the way.my 3rd pair of US thorogoods, great boots. Chinese variant not so good and the soul durability was questionable. There wasn’t any arch support at all, to the point that my feet rolled inward, but I went out and bought a pair of arch supports, and now it’s a pretty good boot.

The shoes was fine just like the photo. I have no issues with the brand. It's was the shipping took a week to arrive. The item was listed under prime, I don't see no reason why I should still paying for prime membership.

Shoe was to small in width so reorder a 9.5 wide But from the looks and feel of shoe I really think I’m go to like them There Okay.

These have a great grip on the bottom which helps when tracking through the woods. I also like the fact that they are waterproof.

I wear these boots for 8 to 12 hours a day. They are really comfortable. I spend a few hours a day outside my feet stay warm and dry. I really like these boots they took about a week to break in.

Would love to give these boots a 5 star, but once again the size listed (and I purchased) has nothing to do with what the shoe is.Boot says 12 Wide (I normally use a 11.5 boot) yet the fit was extremely tight and I didn’t want to try and "break them in” and find out they wouldn’t,Can’t China get their assembly lines up to US standards ? Guess not, as this is a common problem

These were purchased as a summer boot for patrol. Waterproofing is solid as of yet, very comfortable and with the mid-height they breathe well in warm weather. They were a little stiff for the first few shifts, but once broken in they’re the most comfortable waterproof boot I’ve worn during the summer months in MN.

Product claims 100% waterproof not true! Morning dew drechs my feet. And they run a bit smaller than most shoes a little snug

The boots were very uncomfortable. Seemed to only support your heels. I stand at work hours on end. My feet hurt so bad at work I requested a return for the boots and purchased other boots . That’s how bad they feel. On my way home I had to take the boots off to give my feet relief. I do not recommend these boots. It was a terrible experience.

This brand of boot is the only one I can find for my husband that fits comfortably. I got him a pair for Xmas and now another pair. These boots are good quality shoes that are a comfortable fit. Definitely recommend.
