I needed covers for my Euro Square 26x26 pillows. My headboard is made of 100% natural linen. I wanted the bedspreads to mimic linen in color and texture but without wrinkles and a tendency to sag. I saw this beautiful bedspread in GRAY-WHITE which is very close to the color of my linen headboard. But what I liked the most was the 3 buttons on the closure! They imitate dark, smooth wood with some speckles that give the cushion a great contrast. Even better, the zipper is hidden under the button placket. The buttons are sewn onto the flap, eliminating the need to fiddle with the buttonhole and keeping it flat and smooth. GRAY WHITE comes damn close to the look of real linen. These cushions are labeled "decorative linen" which means they have the grain, stripes and raised patterns of a woven linen fabric, but are actually a polyester blend. Why is it preferable? They are washable, tumble dryable and don't need to be ironed if you take them out of the dryer quickly. This fabric is dense and keeps its structure even after washing. For euro squares in particular, you want a structured shape with no "sagging". And you get two covers! My only suggestion is that if you want a really cozy, form-fitting look for Eurosquares, get a 24x24 cover for a 26x26 pillow form. I wanted a casual coastal look and the 26x26 cover was perfect. It retains its structure and is neither too tight nor too loose. Ideal. The pillow shape fits in easily without pressing down like others I've had. The zipper is very comfortable and easy to open/close. After washing they didn't shrink and the color stayed the same. I have allergy covers on my pillows and they have not interfered with a snug fit. I will be ordering more covers in cream and chartreuse for spring and summer. This is an inexpensive but beautiful decorative way to decorate a room. A quality product that looks like linen but works even better! Highly recommended!
