I wanted to take something small with me when I travel. I often use hotel hair dryers and don't have a diffuser, so I awkwardly try to keep them in check with low heat and low airflow. It dries the hair a bit, not like a diffuser. This one should really help as it breaks down to about an inch or two thick. It's silicone, which is nice. I thought it was plastic but this is much better. It fits my Conair Infiniti Pro very well. I am happy with it and recommend it. You have to be careful when you press it against your head because it will tend to bunch up a bit, but it doesn't really matter because you can pull it back out while you continue drying your hair. It has a little more airflow than my larger diffusers, but doesn't frizz my hair and dries it about 60%. I never fully dry my hair. I usually do about 50%. It just takes too long for my hair.
