handy if you don't live near a pet shop
was intended to be used as substrate in a reptile terrarium but I bought it for my orchids as the orchid soil didn't dry out and their roots rotted. it seems to work well for her and I love the wild natural look it adds. In addition to moss, it is also a good addition to potting soil.
