I was so uncomfortable getting up every morning in pain that we wanted to buy a new mattress, but I just couldn't refuse our comfortable bed and my husband sleeps comfortably in it. So I decided to try a back support pillow instead. Well as I doubt this will change anything I am happy to report that the pillow works. I sleep on my back and side, with a pillow under my lower back, and I have no pain or mild soreness upon standing up that goes away after a few minutes. We saved a lot of money by buying a new mattress that probably won't be any better than the one we have.
