touch control table lamp made of high quality material. It has a highly adjustable silica "neck" which makes it much larger than it might appear on the packaging. You can adjust the brightness by simply touching the lamp icon (3 levels plus off) --- long touch changes the color from warm to cold (also 3 colors). I especially like the last feature (I prefer warmer colors at night and cooler colors during the day). The base is shaped like a pen cup and can easily hold several pens, scissors and a ruler. There's also a holder on the top of the mug that allows you to rest your phone and potentially use it for communication, although you lose most of the storage space for your pens. The coolest feature is back on the base --- if you touch the smiley face icon next to the lamp controls, the base changes color from blue to yellow to pink to red to green (I didn't count the number of colors). It's distracting when you're concentrating on your work, but definitely useful when you need to take a break from your computer monitor. You have to plug it into a USB charger which is NOT included but we all have plenty of these so I didn't find that a problem.
