Stainless steel nails are a must for cedar wood - gloss coated or galvanized nails leave unsightly marks after they rust and/or (chemically) react with cedar wood. I was working on building a new fence door to replace a broken door so I bought these ring legs (for adhesion strength), stainless steel nails to assemble the door. I also rented a 15 degree nailer from a local shop for under $30 - and remember, you'll want to do this whether you're running 100 nails or 500. did some finishing touches on the fence itself and realized how much it reduces my efficiency. directly by purchasing these 1.75 inch stainless steel ring nails. They are undoubtedly expensive, but worth the money.
