I've had these tongs for a few years now (decided to check my Amazon purchase history and the products I like) and they are a staple for me. They're all metal, so you don't have to worry about the temperature in the pan while you're cooking. The long tongs are also ideal for frying. They're easy to use and easy to clean - I just toss them in the top rack of the dishwasher. Obviously you don't want to use them on non-stick Teflon surfaces since they are metallic. After 2 years of almost daily use, the locking mechanism has rusted a bit - there is some resistance when locking and unlocking, but it is still fully usable. Considering the price and how often I use them, this is a small detail I'd like to overlook. Overall, I rate these 10/10 and highly recommend them.
