Works great with our Harbor Breeze ceiling fan. This is an older model that can only be controlled with a remote control. The on/off and dimming button stopped working. We've tried a few newer remotes, but they didn't work without changing the receiver in the fan - we didn't want that, since the "backward" button on the original remote (the only way to change the direction of the fan ) would no longer work if the recipient was changed. This remote does everything except switch the direction of the fan, which is why we kept the old remote for that as only the light button on the old remote doesn't work anymore.
