The lights work fine when you turn them on, they work great with the app, they also have a key fob and if everything goes out the key fob HF frequency can be triggered by a specific car key, for example I work in a mall and if you have lights hooked up to a battery I would often go outside after my shift and the lights were on and their installation wasn't very good or the cords weren't long enough I have a 2010 Dodge Charger and the installation was so bad that the rear LED didn't work because the wire was ripped out. And there are no instructions!
