My little Petals weigh about 3 1/2 pounds at 11 months old. she loves this food. But for me the most important thing is that she was a little puppy until last month when I decided to put her on an adult little breed. Since Petals is such a small Maltese, such a tender tummy is perfect for this meal. Most very small puppies have such tender tummies and many have allergies. If you have these issues, I recommend Pro Plan Focus for adult toy breeds, unless there are specific deficiencies that your vet has told you to stay away from!
