Review on Trimmer gasoline STIHL FS 38, AutoCut C 5-2, 0.9 hp, 38 cm by Micha Chmielewski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

I gave this braid to my mother for her birthday))) I myself repair Stihl equipment from an authorized dealer. I think that at such a ridiculous price this is the best product for a small area. Here they write about the problem with carburetors. And you forgive me, you know that fuel cannot be stored in plastic containers? Gasoline dissolves a plastic bottle made of food polyethylene and carries it with it to the carburetor, covering it from the inside with a thin film of plastic, and the fuel filter does not screen out the dissolved plastic. Consequence - carbon can be thrown away, nothing can help him. Of course, it's easier to buy a new scythe for 5500 than to change carbon for 2500 + 500 work. But this is your fault or the dealer, who did not explain all the nuances of using the tool. Here are some of them: - Do not store fuel in a plastic container, a metal one, preferably a glass one or a special plastic canister with a certificate of conformity, is suitable. Any Stihl dealer has them. - Change the fuel filter once a season regardless of whether it is dirty or not 140 filter + change about 100. - Monitor the condition of the air filter, clean it with a brush after each mowing. It cannot be washed in water. Change also once a season. You can and should do it yourself, no one will deprive you of the guarantee for this! - Pour proven fuel, not mutter from Uncle Vanya. AI 92 ONLY! - Do not run the braid. This is not a car. Everything is set up right there. Those. do not drive it at idle and do not pour oil into gasoline to a stupor. - Dilute gasoline with oil only in the proportion given by the manufacturer. No more, no less! Proportion for new and used. equipment ODINAKOVA. By the way, girls very often forget to dilute gasoline altogether))) Men are less frequent. - Use only genuine Stihl oil. For this braid, semi-synthetic oil (so green) is preferable. It practically does not leave carbon deposits on the parts and burns out more completely in the cylinder. -Change the candle once a season 140re only Bosch - Always work at full throttle - this way the engine cools better. Good luck everyone mowing))))

Pros
  • reliable, maintainable, inexpensive (during the season the price is 5500 from dealers), easy to operate, light, nice design.
Cons
  • expensive spare parts, low motor resource (because the fs 38 is intended for small mowing areas)
