Review on LG 27GQ50F B Ultragear Reduction Borderless 165Hz Gaming Monitor - 27GQ50F-B.AUSQ by Ben Balas

Revainrating 4 out of 5

LG blew me away with this!

I am an avid gamer. And using this monitor for the first time was just a wonderful experience. I will never forget the joystick's OSD function at this price point. It makes it really easy to change settings. Speaking of settings, you get a variety of settings with this monitor, from response time, freesync toggles, and MBR!. The pixel response time on this monitor is too good to be true. Coming from a VA panel (AOC C24G1 144Hz) this monitor outperforms this one right away. There is no ghosting on this monitor, I have not noticed any ghosting at all. However, Corona Artifacts AKA Overshoot is noticeable at the highest Response Time setting. But that doesn't stop this monitor from being one of my favorites. If you're wondering why I gave this 4 stars, it's mainly because of the stand. I've seen better stands, but this standard is poorly adjustable. But spend about $40 on a VESA mount and you're good to go. Thanks LG for a nice 144Hz monitor, much better than AOC!
