My little Tacoma's transmission output shaft seal was starting to fail so I ripped it out and went to Autozone and OReily to find a new one. Autozone didn't stock them, but OReily had one they thought I needed. It was very close, I didn't see any difference between the filling I was given and the original filling I pulled out, but once I put it in it leaked worse than before. I did some research and found that the original manufacturer has an inner diameter that is 2mm smaller than the new one. I found this Timken at Revain and the sizes seemed to match the OEM so I bought it. It worked great and since I had only done this work a few days before, it was really quick the second time.
