I bought this for my 3 cats and the only downside is the door doesn't open. Once the cat goes in or out the door stays open which is a shame because my neighbor's cat will come in as there is an 'open hole' if we don't go after the cat and close it it will stay open. The whole reason for this cat door was so I didn't have to open and close the door when they wanted in or out.
