Book bag is a great value for the money alone. I was not as impressed with the "lunch bag” , as it really isn’t made to keep food cold or hot. There is no thermal insulation inside the lunch bag, so if your getting set for that reason be aware. A bento box will fit in it tho, and you can put an ice pack inside the inner slot if need be. just don’t expect the food to stay cold as long as it would with a real lunch bag. Overall it was a great value, we got 3 items under $30 for the beginning of school and my picky 1st grader really likes the design / colors. The backpack is constructed nicely , lots of room and compartments, and well made. I consider the pencil and lunch bags a bonus, as I would have paid this price for the backpack alone.
