Bought for a 97" Cherokee and I can tell a world of difference. I use my Jeep for Sunday rides and off road/parks. When the radiator arrived I was impressed with how it was packaged. You must no worries about it being damaged in transit and it had such high quality parts.Installing the radiator was easy and only took about an hour to complete the replacement.The ONLY downside I felt was the bottom linkage of the gearbox. On my Jeep I had a factory snap fit on the transmission line that goes to the nipple on the radiator The nipple on this radiator is too big for a snap fit so I had to cut the snap fit on my factory transmission cooler line and use a small hose clamp It is ok , and I don't think all Cherokee years are built like that are as I am. Most of the videos on the internet show the hose clamp that this cooler is designed for. PERFORMANCE - I used to get up to 220 degrees easily on tight trails and around 200-205 on the road. Now I'm doing 180-190 on the freeway with the air off, about 200-205 on the freeway. The big plus is that when I turn on the AC (which makes the electric fan work) I never get over 190 degrees! Huge improvement and great setup on my XJ.
