Must have on the XJ: Radiator

99 Jeep Xj, I've heard a lot of complaints about installation problems but I think they updated everything, I had no problems and everything came together perfectly. Runs 6-10 degrees cooler than the old one on hot days, works very well with the fan switch. Also, it looks very well put together and the packaging is fantastic.

Great product good fit nice finish

Excellent product, I had no problems with the hood latch grabbing like some others or the large ZJ style clutch fan not having enough room. Keeps my 93 at a cool 190 while I'm maxed out in the Florida heat. After a while it hits 210, which is still in the happy 4.0 range, but as soon as it hits a few revs, it drops off immediately. When the air conditioning is off, the engine is not warm enough to turn on the electric fan. 500% improvement over the factory 1-row radiator which seems to love…

No doubt.: Radiator

After a simple cooling system upgrade (high flow water pump, new thermostat, multiple flushes, coolant filter and upgraded mechanical fan) my XJ would still top 210 in the mid 80's. Heat after sitting idle in traffic for just a few minutes, Efan screamed. This pup was swapped and I was stuck in traffic for 20 minutes in the mid 90's heat. The Efan never turned on and the temp gauge just over 210. With other cooling upgrades, that's the icing on the cake. The build quality is also phenomenal. My

Waste of time and money for my jeep.

My old radiator had a hole or two and I decided to replace it with a Mishimoto. I thought nothing could happen to the performance cooler in my Jeep. Boy was I wrong. The day after the installation I noticed my jeep was running a little hotter than usual. I drove it on the interstate for about 20 minutes and moved out. He was instantly overheated. About an hour later, I decided to start diagnosing. The city will operate at "acceptable" temperatures, but still higher than usual. Driven 5 km on…

Jeeps are so cool now!

1996 Cherokee. Elevator 3 inches. 31 inch tires. Not sure why the lift makes these jeeps run hotter than stock? Invested in Mishimoto Aluminum Radiator. Perfect fit EXCEPT when we first closed the hood the safety latch pierced the radiator (REMOVE YOUR SAFETY INTERLOCK). I had to weld the radiator (so far so good). Great cooler. I live in Phoenix. Today 113f. The journey home takes 45 minutes with frequent traffic jams. (The temp sensor on this Jeep is a real sensor, so very active.) The temp…

Excellent cooling and easy installation. Worth the price!

Bought for a 97" Cherokee and I can tell a world of difference. I use my Jeep for Sunday rides and off road/parks. When the radiator arrived I was impressed with how it was packaged. You must no worries about it being damaged in transit and it had such high quality parts.Installing the radiator was easy and only took about an hour to complete the replacement. The ONLY downside I felt was the bottom linkage of the gearbox. On my Jeep I had a factory snap fit on the transmission line that goes to…

mine is fine and working. The radiator looks solid, the welds are good. I had an installation scheduled for Saturday morning so I packed all my parts but stopped when I discovered the overflow pipe was missing from the box. Your support gave me one over the next week, but it set me back on my project. The overflow pipe didn't seem to be well threaded and knowing it was aluminum I was very careful screwing it in. But it still broke so I would say the quality control of this part is poor. I…

2001 Jeep XJ Best in Radiators

I would give this 5 stars if not for a couple of reasons. Radiator which forced me to use JB Welds epoxy to install it and get me home. 2) The lower transmission cooler line fitting that came with the new cooler didn't work on my application so I used the original copper adapter from the cooler. As long as the Jeep stays below 450F with the A/C on, the city and outside temps are around 250F. I use the stock thermostat (350F), water pump, and fans. The radiator looks very nice and is worth the…

PSA Read Updates parts missing/overflow spikes missing.

High quality heat sink, what can not be said about the QC in terms of packaging. There was no notch for the coolant overflow and in fact they cut a hole in the m8x1 so you can't even buy one. So now I don't have an opportunity to work tomorrow because I can't drive it without overflowing. So let that be a lesson, just because it's expensive doesn't mean it's the best. Extremely upset. If I had bought it directly from them, they would have sent it to me quicker. So the implication for me was…
