Review on ๐Ÿ’จ Mishimoto MMRAD-XJ-89 Performance Aluminum Radiator for Jeep Grand Cherokee XJ 1989-2001: Efficient Cooling Solution by Christopher Bacho

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Waste of time and money for my jeep.

My old radiator had a hole or two and I decided to replace it with a Mishimoto. I thought nothing could happen to the performance cooler in my Jeep. Boy was I wrong. The day after the installation I noticed my jeep was running a little hotter than usual. I drove it on the interstate for about 20 minutes and moved out. He was instantly overheated. About an hour later, I decided to start diagnosing. The city will operate at "acceptable" temperatures, but still higher than usual. Driven 5 km on the Autobahn, overheated. The next day I ate and went to Oreilly Auto Parts. Spent $120 on a stock Murray radiator and replaced the Mishimoto. I drove it on both the highway and around town for an hour not exceeding 210 degrees and it was great! I don't know what happened to the Mishimoto, but unfortunately the $120 Murray doesn't do it justice. I expect a full refund on the cooler and will never buy a Mishimoto again.
