1996 Cherokee. Elevator 3 inches. 31 inch tires. Not sure why the lift makes these jeeps run hotter than stock? Invested in Mishimoto Aluminum Radiator. Perfect fit EXCEPT when we first closed the hood the safety latch pierced the radiator (REMOVE YOUR SAFETY INTERLOCK). I had to weld the radiator (so far so good). Great cooler. I live in Phoenix. Today 113f. The journey home takes 45 minutes with frequent traffic jams. (The temp sensor on this Jeep is a real sensor, so very active.) The temp didn't go above 220/225f. The air conditioner blows cold. I've made several trips to Flagstaff on I-17. On the 5 miles uphill the temp rises to 225-230f and on the descent the temp drops back down to 180f. It is amazing to observe the efficiency of this radiator. Would have given 5 stars but the safety latch piercing the heatsink ruined the plug and play experience. The photos show the outside temperature and the temperature displayed on the meter during a layover day trip.
