My first waxing

Well I'm in my 40's and those few stubborn hairs on my chin have multiplied to a dozen or more. I used to use a cream that rhymed on stairs and it worked, but it smelled awful and I didn't really enjoy putting that many chemicals on my chin/neck area. I tried small strips from the same company and the barley removed the dead skin cells so didn't help the hair problem at all. I read some reviews of Nads outside of Revain and decided to give it a try. I'm brand new to waxing! I tried it on my leg first to get an idea of the spread, pain and hair removal. I only tried it on a small area so I could also see how quickly it grows back. This kit comes with a pre-epilation wand, I was an idiot and didn't use it. Since it rinses off with warm water I thought I might try applying it to a small area and then taking a shower to wash away the residue. Big mistake. He burned. Hot water caused so much pain. I showered as usual and then used an essential oil lotion, one of which was coconut oil. I had a few tiny red dots, which is to be expected when you pull hair by the root. My hair is very light, almost light, so you can't see much in the photo. Overall I would recommend. I need to practice the technique before trying it on the chin, neck, maybe armpits. I'm not sure how well this will work for my "chin mustache" but at least I'll end up with smooth legs.
