I saw some reviews on this product and realized it must be luck. Mine has been working great since I took it out of the box almost 2 years ago. The only reason I came back here is to buy another one for the garage. The Bluetooth function works better than I thought. It sits in my workshop and with the garage door open it sometimes communicates 100 feet away (no, I'm not getting paid for this, it just works!). The only consideration I would have if I don't get the second one is that there is no way to change Blue Tooth's name and as it relates so far I'm worried I won't be able to say which to refer to when I go to the backyard. (That's a good problem). Apparently some of them don't work like mine.
