Review on POWERTEC 110550 Aluminum Adhesive Sanding by Montez Vazquez

For people who have problems with sticky replacement drives I think the problem is with the solvent you use to clean the mounting surface, not the drives themselves. Do not use any petroleum based cleaners [White Spirit], that leave greasy residues and cause adhesion problems. I used medicinal alcohol. denatured alcohol or acetone will likely work as well. After removing the old drive and cleaning the mounting surface with rubbing alcohol, the replacement drive stuck in place with no issues. I will buy this product again, it works great.
