I know what you're probably thinking. Hell, I know it was me. I totally thought that SlipStrop was a gimmick. It looked like something for people who didn't know how to sharpen, or who couldn't make their own tape out of leather, denim, or wood. damn good job getting my knives and chisels sharp again. It's great for all my chisels, chisels, and regular pocket knives. The flat surface is a good combination of hardness and texture to really hold the mass and the sculpted areas work much faster and better than I could have imagined correcting mistakes I made while carving. It's totally worth the price paid just for the time. If you have carving tools, you should definitely get one of these. You'll thank me, or at least Flexcut will.
