Review on OPHIR Airbrush Siphon Bottles Painting by Amy Mcleod

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I took a risk I'm glad I did.

I needed a suction gun, I didn't know what to buy. It looked interesting because I didn't have to buy any extra bottles or caps. No reviews yet but I figured $16, while not that much, would allow me to learn more about suction guns. First impression: small, very light and the connector was too small for my gun but I found the adapter at the bottom of the box. for additional bottles. I connected it, sprayed it with water according to the instructions and was pleasantly surprised by the result. I filled the bottle with acrylic, diluted it well and started spraying. The first thing that struck me was that I didn't have the first few drops of paint splattering onto the surface of the painting like my gravity guns did. Good smooth flow, even pattern, easily adjustable by twisting the cap on the bottle. Warning: This is a large area sprayer, 1/2" spray width at 6" from surface to 2 1/2" wide open. Not for fine work but it's not what I wanted. Very satisfied so far. . .. I'm sure there will be "China haters" who will kick it out but that's my experience (no compensation) Long life? I don't know but damn it's $16 damn , nowadays almost disposable.
