The main thing you need to know when buying this model is that none of the non-native flashes will work with it, and there may be compatibility problems with non-native lenses (I personally have with Sigma). Buying a new native flash will cost such an amount that it would be much more profitable to buy a device of a higher class, but with the old hot shoe format. But who knew about such an ambush? I don’t know about the success of the fight against compatible equipment manufacturers (they will probably adapt and release new models), but Canon has already lost its loyal supporter.
