Decided to move the router to another location. Accordingly, the cable would have to be pulled. But I decided to buy some kind of Wi-Fi adapter and connect my PC to a wireless network. The choice fell on this model. The connection went well. It was worth starting the PC, as my Windows 10 immediately suggested choosing any of the available networks. This is where the first problems started: after connecting to the network, the speed was quite good for the first minute, but then it dropped to 10-20 kbps. Okay, I installed the drivers from the disk - the problem remained. Then I made a "clean" installation of drivers from the official site. No results. The problem was solved by installing Realtek drivers. The speed stopped falling, but was very low. As a result, the problem turned out to be in the antennas, which lost the signal if they were directed in any direction. There is a clear signal only if these antennas are straightened, i. E. direct it clearly back, without bending anywhere, although such an opportunity seems to be provided for by the design. After all these adventures, I can safely say that the adapter, when properly configured, works great. The only thing that peeches is the lack of support for 5 GHz networks, but 2.4 GHz is enough to use the Internet at speeds up to 100 Mbps. When paired with an AirPort Express 2G, this adapter delivers the same 45 Mbps as any other device on the network.
