It floats and is waterproof. I have an iPhone 12 Pro and it fits nicely in my pocket. The functions of the phone in the case worked perfectly over water. Below the waterline, the phone functions didn't work for me. I tried to take photos and videos in the Galapagos but the water temperature was cold and my phone couldn't recognize the commands I have in my pocket. A GoPro or similar underwater camera is definitely a must in the future. This bag lived up to its promise of being waterproof and buoyant, but for me it was useless for underwater photos and videos. But it is a reliable means to protect your phone from water, sand, etc.
