Review on 🚰 Arofa A01LY Commercial Pull Down Kitchen Faucet - Modern Stylish Single Handle with Pull Out Sprayer and Brushed Nickel Finish by Kevin Cole

Great upgrade for our old stainless steel sink

We've chosen a matte finish that goes well with a standard steel sink. The sink is old but still looks shiny and we decided to upgrade the faucet as getting a new sink would mean an entire countertop with a new style sink project which we are putting off for now. The faucet is made in China and appears to be made of quality materials. The packaging was great so our faucet didn't have any scratches or stains. Installation is easy, but in our case it was necessary to cut some old pipes, which I did with a plumber's handle. I suspect in a newer home (mine was built in 1974) the installation might just consist of screwing a new faucet onto existing hardware. I don't need a plumber to replace this new fixture in the future. If we ever get a new sink, this faucet will also run on the new sink. After about a month of use, everything cleans well and looks great. The water supply lever works smoothly and reliably, making it easy to control the flow and temperature of the water. The built-in atomizer is great. It is easy to pull out of the tap, does not splash water, and returns to the tap with confidence. I've seen these spray faucets in other people's homes that appeared to be dangling, but that's not the case. I didn't see a list of "parts" in the installation guide. Not sure if you can buy a replacement cartridge for it when it starts leaking. I think it's well made and the manufacturer has a 5 year replacement policy so I'm not worried. A tip: Originally we had the control stick on the right side. That meant you pulled the lever towards you for hot water and pressed your back against the wall for cold water. After a few days, I loosened the main faucet mounting screw and turned the lever to the left. Now push the lever back for hot and pull it back for cold. You can turn it less and turn the lever towards you and then there will be hot water on the left and cold water on the right. If you install the faucet yourself, you can move it yourself if you wish. If you installed a faucet, let the installer know where you want the control handle to be.
