Review on πŸ’€ LUCID Queen 4 Inch Gel Memory Foam Mattress Topper - Ventilated Design for Ultimate Plush Comfort by Michael Boyce

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Please make sure you need 4 inches before purchasing.

I'm the type of person who doesn't bother to write reviews but after reading some bad reviews really felt the need to do so. First and foremost, unless you have severe joint pain or need to decompress areas of your body, then you probably don't need 4-inch memory foam at all. The nature of so much foam is that it will lull you completely to sleep and make it a little harder to move or get out of bed. That doesn't make it a bad product, just that it's a lot softer than you might need. I have suffered from psoriatic arthritis and peripheral neuropathy for over 15 years. The foam I just threw away was probably 3 inches 12 years ago but wore down to 2.5 and hasn't cut it again. I woke up with joint pains and drowsy spots with high blood pressure. I've been on this new foam for two weeks and I'm totally in love! I can even sleep on my side again because the foam lulls my body and allows my hips not to withstand the pressure from the rest of me. That's great! Someone compared it to a hard marshmallow and I think it's a great comparison. It's perfectly fine that I don't move much at night, as my movements are usually caused by pain during sleep. I usually have to move to get my circulation going again! I also agree that getting out of bed is a little harder for me because 4 inches is a lot of pillows! If it were a little firmer, it wouldn't hug my painful pressure points or take weight off my hips. I also read that it wasn't for tall people, but I'm 200 pounds and it still works great for me. This topper might be too big for some, so make sure you really need that much foam before buying one. . 2 inches of high quality foam might be all you really need, but for those with issues like mine it will be marshmallow heaven 😁
