It's easy to set up and the camera function works very well. Picture quality was good too. That being said, the worst feature of this device is one of the most important things. Battery life. I don't understand why they don't just do it with a plug and use the battery as a backup system in case you have a power outage. I followed the instructions exactly and charged the battery for the suggested time (7-8 hours). The problem is that the battery life is only around 1-2 hours at best. Then, once it goes off, you have to go through the connection process again. If you want it to work you have to keep it connected to the network, which worries me for security reasons. And it's a very uniquely sized battery, so you can't just switch to a regular one.
