Not exactly wood. The main thing is plastic!

Bought this because I love Hape and don't want to buy another plastic toy. The photo clearly shows the texture of the wood on the red part of the body, and it looks like only the blue upper part is plastic. nope! The red part is made of plastic, only the "button" and the cap on the bottom are made of wood. The Echo isn't as good as the Magic Mic and I paid 4x (unless you can find them at the dollar store where I paid 20x). I was really looking forward to it and now I'm just disappointed. Although my daughter seems to like it.
