I decided to buy both the Little Giant platform and this fake platform to decide which one to use in the future. I don't want to use "fake" as a derogatory term. I just wanted to know if LG is worth the extra $5. In my photos, the little giant is on the left and the copy on the right. LG says their weight limit is 375# while fake says their weight is 400#; However, LG's construction is much stronger. They also use lock nuts to prevent loosening of the connection with the support bracket. A fake can work perfectly but I decided to return it and buy another LG.
