Pre-Update: After a few interactions with Seller: Caydo Online they did their best to fix everything for me. Your customer service definitely gets a big compliment for this sale! Below is my updated feedback on what I received. --------------------------------- ------- ---------- ---------------------------------------- - --------- ------- ------- I chose these canvases because they are inexpensive and I wanted to give my daughter a few more options than the leash that came with the speedball kit . Below is what I received and my feedback on it.* These are NOT 110mesh screens. They are 100 mesh. Even if it doesn't matter much at least someone has to admit If you're looking for a specific number of screen threads, it might not be exactly what you're expecting. * The screens are made of pine wood. This is neither negative nor positive. Just be aware that there is a STRONG pine smell. If you don't know what it smells like, you will find out after purchasing this kit. * Screens are ALL 1/4 inch. They have a more accurate size. If you need a 10" x 14" screen, this kit will only give you a 9 3/4" x 13 3/4" printable area. Again, this isn't a big deal as 10x14 screens etc have some of this area taped over to keep the ink from seeping around the edges.* Plastic knives will cut your screens. All the plastic ink knives they supply have a very rough surface. There was a flash from production as well as terrible sediment. Before you can use them on your screens, you need to solve both problems. Wash them in soapy water and sand the edges with fine sandpaper. * Screens are stapled below. Again, this isn't really an issue, but it's worth noting that there's no excessive force being applied to the screen without some form of support underneath. * Metal spatula. The metal spatula is fine. I would suggest using a spoon to put lots of ink on the stencils if you are going to make a big print.* Squeegee. The squeegee is made of rubber, in my case orange-transparent, and it's the only one which has exact dimensions. Its dimensions are 9 and 7/16 inches, 9.4375 inches. Again, the handle is pine and the rubber is attached with clips. Mine has leftovers that need cleaning up, but overall it helps! Although I'm a little disappointed with what I received, the product will still do what I need and not hamper a beginner's screen printing skills. I will definitely check out other Caydo products. and will not affect the screen printing skills of beginners.
