The included measuring cup was broken on arrival (it was fragile) but these two pieces do the trick. I let the alcohol get too low in my tank while minimizing water changes to circulate it and the large, very old piece of SPS my friend gave me died. In a panic I bought these two pieces and changed 1/5 of the water. This saved the sps frags I had left and my alc went up to the recommended levels. the only thing that bothers me is the price. For larger tanks over 100 gallons, be sure to purchase gallon jugs. It's easy to use, but you need your own meter.
