Review on Hunter Indoor Ceiling Fan Control Appliances by Chris Hodges

The fan itself is fine for me (although I installed it in the bedroom and found it a bit noisy). It was very difficult for me to connect to my router. Integration with Alexa is poor. Alexa can turn the fan on and off. She can turn off the fan. Asking Alexa to turn on the fan results in either 1) Alexa saying it's not supported, or 2) Alexa saying "OK" but then not turning on the fan. The SimpleConnect app is useless (except when setting up a wireless router). I find little correlation between what a fan is doing and what the app says the fan is doing. The remote works great and I only use it to control the fan. In short, this is a great fan, but don't buy it for the home automation function. Plugging it into a router and using it with Alexa is more trouble than it's worth.
