Great solution for DIY floating shelves

What I liked: The concept, it's hard to find a way to make floating shelves without this fastener. I was able to use this fastener to hang 3/4" oak shelves from drywall. What I didn't like: Measurement is key, once you've drilled holes in the back of a shelf it requires accurate placement of the holes in the wall. Paper template, to help installers place holes in shelves and walls.
