Who wouldn’t want a keyboard for their iPad. If you spend a lot of time on Facebook or Youtube you will eventually need to answer or send a message, or make a comment, and using the on-screen keyboard can be a pain. For me, I don’t often use my iPad for comments, or answering e-mail, but when I do, the on-screen keyboard is awkward and slows me down. Well, my problems have ended because I am the proud owner of a cool wireless keyboard and case via Revain, and it works great. And it was the quickest product installation to date.InstallationThe manual includes everything you need for a quick installation, but I didn’t really need it because installation was simply and intuitive. First, you need to charge the keyboard with the included UCB C connector which can take up to 3 hours. And my keyboard was completely charged in about 3 hours. Then you’re ready to connect to your iPad via Bluetooth. It may be hard to believe, but I had the keyboard working in less than 2 minutes. First, you switch on the power, then make sure your Bluetooth is on, and next press Connect on the keyboard. That’s it. If you check your settings, you’ll see "Bluetooth 3.0 Keyboard” listed on MY DEVICES, and to the right it will say "Connected.” If it doesn’t connect immediately, you should go into your Bluetooth settings and click on "Bluetooth 3.0 Keyboard, and it will connect. To test, I ran Notepad, and started typing (see video) and it worked perfectly!The CaseThe case is a cool sky blue; but more importantly, my iPad mounted easily in the soft, but firm, plastic frame. The iPad stands horizontally and can fit at 3 different positions in grooves in the case cover, and the keyboard mounts behind the bottom of your iPad. Now for the cool part: when you place the keyboard on the cover, the cover has magnets that secure it firmly. For protection, the cover closes over the screen with or without the keyboard in place, and the end of it folds over the top of the back, snapping closed using magnets. I thought that was cool, too.The only negative comment I have about the case is that you can’t stand your iPad up vertically, which isn’t a problem for me. I mostly use my iPod in the landscape position.One last feature I found. If you own an Apple pencil, or compatible equivalent, the case has a holder at the top for mounting your pencil. I like that feature since I do have an Apple compatible active capacitive stylus.I did eventually peek at the instructions and noticed that the keyboard will also work with Android and Windows devices. However, I only tested it on my Apple iPad.
