Despite the hefty price tag, I decided to give it a try, and I must say I am pleased with the purchase. Installation was a breeze, and the pump's stainless steel construction ensures it will stand the test of time. The 3HP engine has plenty of power to deliver water at a flow rate of 92GPM, which is sufficient for my needs. There is no control box included, which was a bit of a letdown, but I managed to rig up my own using a voltage regulator. The pump operates smoothly and quietly, the only audible noise being the sloshing of water being pumped out. The 144FT pumping depth is impressive and ensures that even during droughts, I will be able to draw water from the well. Overall, the Schraiberpump Stainless Steel Submersible Deep Well Pump is a solid investment for anyone in need of a reliable water pump. The lack of a control box may be a deal-breaker for some, but with some technical know-how, it is not an issue. I give it a solid 4 stars out of 5.
