I ordered these for my 13 year old Australian Shepherd who weighs 45lbs Take them off or the shoes will stay on too long I am not sure if there is a problem with leaving the shoes on too long, but I don't want to risk it. My dog had trouble walking. Above all, he tries to get up on parquet floors, he has no problems with shoes. Not only are the shoes very well made, but it certainly bothered me that most of the products I researched had the main complaint of shoes falling off. To prevent the shoes from falling off, it is important to wrap the top of the shoe around the foot and then wrap the Velcro around the crease. The wrinkle-free pulling and closing of the Velcro does not work and the boot comes off. My dog is happy with his shoes and so am I. Highly recommended.
