This is a great little print server. This also works for regular printers. I used it to share a monochrome Brother laser printer. I couldn't run the utility on my XP PC. The solution is to remove all configured printers and then manually add the printer on the PC: Control Panel > Add Printer > Local Printer > Create New Port: Standard TCP/IP Port > "printer name" and "port name" (collect all information when setting up the print server) > device type: universal network card > select your printer from the list. This worked for me on an XP machine. The utility worked on my Win7 computer, but adding the printer manually also worked. You can uninstall the utility on your PC when adding the printer manually. Very happy with this little one at a great price. Say hello to my little friend! :0)
