Great leader. As a new paddleboarder I wanted to make sure I had all the gear I needed and that was on my list. I've heard the importance of providing a leash so the board doesn't end up in the water if you fall. While these hooklinks are really made for maneuvering in spots where a straight hooklink can snag, I've found that the reel actually keeps it in your path when you're putting the board in the water and when you're on it. This one is so comfortable you'll hardly notice it's on. The Velcro closure is comfortable and stays in place. Never walk without a leash, and this leash should be at the top of your list.
