So, I'm a professional digital artist. I work in Photoshop, so color accuracy is very important to me. My last monitor died and to be honest I couldn't afford to replace it for a while so I checked the colors on my tablet and worked on my laptop. Terrible combination. So I was looking for a cheap monitor with good color fidelity. At this point, I'd settle for "decent" color accuracy until I could afford something better. Since this is the only monitor with a wide color gamut in this price range, I decided to take a chance. Actually I'm really impressed. For this price it has everything I wanted. The color is good. Not perfect, but VERY impressive for a budget model. The screen is really good, the brightness/contrast is fine for me and my performance was pretty good after switching the color profile to srgb mode. Haven't tried it yet but I think it will be ok for most games but the frame rate will probably be too low for multiplayer games. I don't actually play them so I can't confirm how well they perform in this arena. So far I have zero problems. It was really easy to set up, the calibration was pretty good from the start. It's Vesa compatible, but it blocks ports a bit even at 75x75, but I wasn't planning on mounting it, so if that bothers you, be aware. cheap. Can't confirm durability yet, but all monitors are prone to failure, so I'm not overly concerned about that, especially the cost.
